Nice thing about the NMC equipment is their grapples generally come with straps. NMC Goliath is a great forwarder, can be used to load trailers as well. John Deere 953MH Mill Loader big, ugly, slow moving (tracks) great loader though. Gjerstad Pack has a grapple that can be used with the Huddig backhoe mod, works well for logs.
Honestly the only reason I don't use it is I just can't get past how ugly the Griffin is. The NMC Timber loader is one of the options for it and it is pretty good. NMC Griffin is a multi-platform type semi. You can choose between 3 different axles and you can also choose between having visible and invisible walls, where the invisible version is for the expert player who now where to put the logs. The guy that makes them pretty much does exclusive forestry near as I can tell and has made some nice machines, what they may lack in aesthetics they make up for in function. Fliegl Log Trailer This log trailer is an real life inspired logging trailer from the Scandinavian area. They definitely work better with a joystick/controller than they do a keyboard/mouse and they are good loaders. The FDR ones are usually set up a bit different from the base game ones but in a not terrible way. Check in the modhub for loaders from NMC or FDR.
